Table Tennis in Toronto
Table tennis is quietly one of the most consistently scheduled drop-ins the City runs, and the regulars at places like Wellesley, Trinity, and Etobicoke Olympium are seriously good. Most centres set up two to six tables in a gym or multipurpose room and run open play, with informal winner-stays-on rotation when it's busy. Table Tennis with Family sessions are scheduled separately and are much more relaxed if you're bringing kids. Paddles and balls are usually provided, but serious players bring their own paddle.
Cost
$3–$6 drop-in. Free at the City's free centres.

Common questions
Are paddles and balls provided?
Yes, almost always. Quality is basic — regular players bring their own paddle and sometimes their own 3-star balls.
How does rotation work when it is busy?
Most sessions run informal winner-stays-on or a rotating doubles system. Ask the group when you arrive; the regulars will sort you in.
Can I bring kids?
Look for "Table Tennis with Family" sessions, which are scheduled for mixed ages. General sessions can be adult-heavy and fast.
