How to use this site

Four steps to find a drop-in class near you. No account, no booking, nothing to install.

1. Tell us where you are

At the top of the page, type your address or postal code, or tap Use my location. We then look for classes near that spot.

2. Read the list

Classes are listed in time order, so whatever starts soonest is at the top. Each one shows the centre, the time, and what it costs.

3. Narrow it down

Tap Sort & filter above the list to choose one activity, one age group, or one centre. The list shrinks to just what you asked for.

4. Planning ahead? Switch to the week

The List button and the Week button sit above the results. Week shows the next seven days, one day at a time.

Questions people ask us

Why don't I see classes for later this week?

The main list only shows classes starting in the next several hours. It answers "what can I go to today".

To plan ahead, switch to the Week view. It shows the next seven days, one day at a time.

How do I find classes for older adults or seniors?

You can type older adult, senior, 55+ or 60+ into the search box and we will understand it.

You can also open Sort & filter and choose the Seniors (55+) age group. That leaves only classes with an older-adult age requirement.

Some classes are open to everyone and are not labelled by age, so they will not appear under that filter even though you are welcome at them.

I only want one activity at one pool or centre. How?

Open Sort & filter at the top of the results.

Pick the centre you want under Centre, then pick the activity under Activity, for example Swimming/Aqua.

You will then see only that activity at that one building.

Why are some of these centres far from me?

We search a small area around the address you gave us, then widen it a little if there is almost nothing nearby.

If the results look like the wrong part of the city, check the address at the top of the page. Tap it to change it.

How much does a drop-in class cost?

Many are free, including leisure swim at every City pool, drop-in skating, and every program at the City's free centres.

Where there is a fee, a swim or drop-in sport day pass is $4.39 and a fitness or aquafit class is $10.64.

People aged 13 to 18 and 60 and over pay half. The City also has a fee subsidy called the Welcome Policy.

Do I need to book, or can I just show up?

Drop-in means you can just show up and pay at the door. Most classes need no booking.

Arriving 15 to 20 minutes early is wise for popular sessions, which can fill up.

We do not take bookings or payments. We only show you what the City has scheduled.

What about classes you sign up for by the season?

This site covers drop-in classes only, the ones you can attend without registering.

Seasonal programs you enrol in, such as a ten-week course starting in September, are booked on the City of Toronto's own registration site.

What we do and do not do

We show drop-in classes near any Toronto address, what starts soonest today and over the next seven days, and what the City charges. We do not take bookings or payments, and we do not handle seasonal programs you register for. Schedules come from the City of Toronto's open data and are refreshed every morning.
